Tanzania is located in Eastern Africa, bordering the Indian Ocean, between Kenya and Mozambique . Area of 0.947 MN sq Km and a coastline of 1424 km. Dar-es-Salaam is the capital city while other prominent cities are Dodoma, Zanzibar, Kogoma, Lindi.

Climate:varies from tropical along coast to temperate in highlands

Political Structure:The Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) has been in power since 1964.The previous election was in 2005 and the next election will be 2010.
