Madagascar is located in Southern Africa an island in the Indian Ocean, east of Mozambique.Area of 0.581 Mn sq Km and a coastline of 4,828 km. Antananarivo is the capital city while other prominent cities are :

Toamasina,Antsirabe,Fianarantsoa,Mahajanga,Toliara,Antsiranana,Antanifotsay,

Ambovombe,Amparafaravola,Taolagnaro,Ambatondrazaka

Climate:tropical along coast, temperate inland and arid in south
