GEOGRAPHY

Mozambique  is located in south eastern Africa bordering the Mozambique Channel,between South Africa and Tanzania. Area of 0.799 Mn sq Km and a coastline of 2470 Km. The capital city is Maputo while other prominent cities are Beira, Xai – Xai and Lumbo.

Climate: tropical to subtropical

Political Structure: Republic

The President is the head of state and head of the government .The previous election was in 2005 when Liberation Front of Mozambique political party came into power.
